Hemangioma Treatment at Hada Cosmetic Medicine

Spider angiomas or hemangiomas are clusters of blood vessels. The angioma will  appear to be a small, central red dot surrounded by smaller capillaries emanating from the center so that these resemble spider legs. They typically are very tiny, measuring less than 1 centimeter in size, painless, but could be itchy or uncomfortable in some cases. They are most commonly found on the face, neck, and arms, but can occur on other parts of the body as well.

Sclerotherapy: This involves injecting a solution directly into the blood vessels to cause them to collapse and fade away.

Laser therapy: The right laser can target and destroy the blood vessels that make up the spider angioma. This is a safe and effective option that typically does not require any downtime and what we most commonly use at Hada Cosmetic Medicine.

Electrocautery: This involves using a small electrical current to destroy the blood vessels.
